When I was a kid, I always wanted to be able to draw "better"... I doubt I'll ever be able to draw as good as I did when I was a kid.


Though I don't do it often enough, I've been drawing and making art my whole life. Last year I started doing charcoal sketches of rappers for a zine I created called Supa Emcees. The process expanded into portraits of people that are not rappers as well. Some selected sketches have been adapted into large-scale sumi ink paintings. All the sumi ink pieces are on 33x44" Stonehenge archival art paper.
